I’m Jeff Phillips, and I live in Chicago. I’ve been practicing photography for more than 30 years. I’m a proud member of the Filter Photo Festival team. I’m also a full time social collaboration and enterprise content management consultant.
I am working on several ongoing projects, but most of my work focuses on a series called Crowdspotting. I photograph groups of people where they gather in public spaces and use an obscure, film-based, wide-format camera with a field of view approximately the same as human vision. I print my photographs about six feet wide.
I’m very active in the Chicago photography community so if you know of any photography-related shows, lectures, or social events (or want to create one), drop me a line at my “regular” site at jeffphillips.me.
